The Atomic Vase is part of LHMc Studio's hand-built and hand-carved Automatic series. Influenced by Dadaist automatist techniques in which marks are improvised with immediacy and spontaneity, each work from this series provides an emotional connection to the artist at the moment of making. Some are carved with ease, some with sharpness; some are overthought and some are under-considered. Each is entirely unique and never to be replicated again.
